The Furuno FCV 800 is a standalone fishfinder with an intuitive 8.4″ color LCD keyed display. The glass-covered, piano black front panel has easy-to press keys and a convenient rotoKey. CHIRP or dual-frequency CW (Continuous Wave) transducer support allows for full customization of your FCV 800. TruECHO CHIRP sonar provides greater detail and target separation allowing you to see baitfish, game fish and structure. The FCV 800 can even combine TruEcho CHIRP and CW Transducers to see CHIRP targets, ACCU-FISH and Bottom Discrimination! The FCV 800 builds off of its predecessor the Furuno FCV 588 including all of the same great features with the addition of several features including new advanced sonar features, bottom hardness output, color expansion, wireless connectivity and more!
The FCV 800 display shows expanded color ranges, allowing you to better identify echoes. Reefs, structure and fish are shown in different colors so you can quickly interpret your sonar returns!
Furuno has a history of developing exceptional products with state of the art features. The FCV800 is no different. ACCU-FISH provides fish size and depth assessment, while Bottom Discrimination helps you identify rock, sand, gravel or mud on the seafloor. Furuno REZBOOST provides advanced signal processing technology that improves resolution and target separation when using conventional narrowband transducers. Fish lying near the bottom of the seafloor don’t stand a chance with the White Line Feature. This feature displays the top edge of the bottom in white to better show bottom structure.
If you desire a second display so you can view your sonar from another location, wireless connectivity allows you to add a second display to show echoes from your FCV-800 fishfinder.
The FCV 800 features dual transducer ports and supports 600W/1kW Dual Frequency CW or CHIRP transducers. Transducers are sold separately are required for sonar performance.
